P.D.O. agreements

P.D.O. stands for Preceding Direct Object.  This is when we add an agreement to the past participle of a compound tense verb when the object of the verb comes before it.

Exemples:

Ce sont les livres que j’avais empruntés à la bibliothèque.

Tu as écouté cette cassette?  Je l’ai achetée hier.
