The first is a simple guided tour of Lyon (Y8-9 - low intermediate), the second is a series of short interviews about love and marriage for AS level (low advanced). A set of graded sentences for translation. Future tense. Easy standard.

Sentences for translation into French. Regular -er verbs. Some classes may like this as a reinforcing/revision exercise.

Graded English to French translation sentences for aller = infinitive. Easy standard. Could be used with very good Y8 classes.

Article and exercises on tea drinking in France. The French are drinking more tea, but not the British variety with milk. This piece may be of particular interest to adult students.

A set of simple translation into French sentences using the perfect tense (passé composé). VERY old school, but some teachers may like to use these. I've put it in Y8, but it could be used in Y9 too. You could easily work through them orally to fix up some accuracy issues. Michael Gove would like them.

Vous aimez les animaux? Video listening task. The Zoo de Vincennes in Paris has reopened. This is a short BFM TV report with some vox pops. The worksheet has pre-listening discussion, true/false/not mentioned and vocabulary.

Video listening/reading task for beginners or primary pupils. A girl describes what's in her pencil case. Students tick off any items in French she mention from a long list. Knowledge of items and colours needed.

Video listening for adult students (and maybe A-level too) : a delicious boeuf bourguignon recipe with re-ordering exercise. My mouth is watering as I write this. 12-24 hours of marinating seems to be one of the secrets.
