Another 'Correct the transcript' task, this one about a night out at the cinema. Good for a strong Higher Tier GCSE class. As usual, there us an optional audio track. CEFR A2/B1.
A 'faulty transcript' (correct the transcript) task on the subject "Pollution in my city". Students hear the text read aloud by the teacher (or using the audio track provided by text-to-speech) and have to correct the transcript they have printed in front of them. This is a harder one for very good Higher Tier GCSE classes. CEFR B1.
Another narrow listening + exercises task. 'My best friend.' Four short paragraphs for the teacher to read aloud as students do their matching and true/false tasks. Lots of repeated chunks. CEFR A2.

A starter called "Start my sentence". There are a total of 36 sentences. You read aloud the end, students note down or say the start (always a verb). Three tenses used. CEFR A2. On the Y9 page, but could be used with older students. Editable. Do as many as you want as a starter, filler or plenary.
Video listening (kind of). A short video showing the 10 most popular dishes in France in 2022. I have provided a possible commentary, but, depending on how much the class already knows, you could teach this informally, eliciting what the students (maybe adults) already know. CEFR B1/2.
