Another 'Correct the transcript' task for GCSE Higher. This one is called Poverty in Guadeloupe. Teacher and pupils transcripts provided. Answers are easily displayed. An instant 20 minute activity for a good Y11 class, or brilliant Y10. CEFR A2.
'Match and complete'. A starter for Y8 (maybe Y9). Students look at each slide, match the English with the French and complete the correct spelling of each French word/phrase. 10 words or phrases per slide. Answers given. CEFR A1. There are LOADS more easy starters like this on the site now.

A booklet of six verb table grids to complete. Present indicative, present subjunctive, imperfect, future, conditional (present) and passé composé. This is for A-level students who need to revise basic verb forms. You could use any individual sheets from the set. The 'Top 15' are the ones most used in speech.
A third "Correct the transcript" task, this one called "Ma santé". You could exploit these texts in other ways too, e.g. note-taking in English, or dictogloss (where students take notes in French to summarise the text - a kind of loose dictation). CEFR A2.

I've uploaded the first of a few "Correct the transcript" tasks for the Y10-11 page (aka Faulty Transcript). The first one is "Last weekend". These suit Higher Tier GCSE. The teacher reads aloud while students listen to differences in their transcript and correct it. CEFR A2.
