This another video listening and speaking resource based on a Coffee Break French video on YouTube. The topic is daily routine and would suit a class at Y10 or even Y11. The task is to spot from a list statements which are used. The language is authentic, but can be slowed down, or used with the subtitled version for some classes. CEFR A2.

Students must tick off correct items from a list, then ask their friends the same question (milling around task) and note down answers. There is a subtitled version of the video in the second half which can be used for correcting. CEFR A1/2. You might want to revise numbers and months first!

There is a subtitled version of the video in the second half which might benefit some classes. Pretty much a whole lesson. CEFR A1/2. A Y8 class might also cope as there are so mnay cognates when it comes to sport vocab.

I have updated the 'knowledge portfolio' booklet for Pearson-Edexcel. These are popular with students and teachers, providing facts and figures which can be deployed during the oral assessment (Paper 3).

I have updated the AQA A-level 'Knowledge Portfolio'. This is the set of facts and figures student might deploy in their oral test (Paper 3). I used Chat GPT to source figures from 2024. All sources are given but the information was not verified. Teachers and students have found this help booklets useful. I shall do the Pearson-Edexcel one in due course.
