A sentence builder frame to practise using il faut/il ne faut pas (with school rules). My sentence builders come with a suggested teaching sequence.

PowerPoint presentation. "Last weekend" - with the focus on 'avoir' verbs with irregular past participles. Could be used in Y8 or Y9.

An information gap task based on a family tree. Good to use later in a sequence on the family in Y7, or even in Y8 for review. Revises family members and ages.

Video listening. A report about a family celebrating the festival of Aïd. The task is to correct faulty transcriptions of utterances. Answers given.

A video on plastic waste in oceans, with subtitles. Questions in English. Would suit a good Y10-11 class. Very clear with graphics to help. I did a different worksheet on the same video last year!
