"Guess the jobs" pair game. Along similar lines to 20 Questions but with questions provided and a point scoring system. Easy to scaffold and could be used from Y9-Y11. Rules and language provided. You could copy and paste into a PowerPoint.
A set of eight easy intermediate (GCSE) parallel gapped translations which are very hard to do with Google Translate. Students have to complete translation both ways simultaneously. Good puzzle-solving tasks which should improve translation skill while reinforcing vocabulary and grammar knowledge with high frequency language.

Adult and advanced video listening. A BFM TV short video about the tour Saint-Jacques in Paris. Correct false statements plus an oral task. Quite fast but clear. Good for second year of A-level or very good AS-level, I would suggest. Fits well with cultural heritage themes.

Could be used to generate uses of the imperfect and perfect tenses if you want a focus on grammar. Some vocab provided. Aimed at good Y11 (high intermediate) or even A-level.
